Negative Human Impact
Sadly, human impact has a huge negative effect on the species currently living in these ecosystems. The negative impacts are what causing the positive human impacts, and therefore outweigh the personal human needs and these ecosystems should be saved. This is because all of the developers' ideas for buildings in this area are for luxury and for tourist attraction, and not for the needs of humans but for personal gain and profit. These developers are greedy and we as humans don't need what they are building. These buildings, which include over 4,000 luxury homes, two mega-hotels and three golf courses, are all for luxury and even hurt the ecosystems in the ecological corridor. First of all, the ecosystems are destroyed from construction and the destruction of forests and animals. The species that are endangered will have one less place to live or become extinct because that was their last place to live. Secondly, the light produced by the homes and buildings already are causing disruption in the ecosystems will animals would go the wrong way and not into the sea but instead into the town. We don't need more light, we need life not light. Some sea animals are killed by being hit by boats and the pollution given by the cities and humans. These animals mistake our garbage for food, and suffocate off of the plastic in our water. This pollution is unacceptable, especially for such a civilized race such as us. For example, some sea turtles have been found to digest up to 11 pounds of plastic waste in their stomachs. Go measure your empty plastic bottle and divide 11 by that. That is how many water bottles are found in an endangered species just because it's inconvenient for us. The effect negative human impact has on the ecosystems is so great, that it's causing these species to become endangered and possibly extinct. This all for a few luxuries that we want when we go on vacation. This is a luxury that we just can't afford, so let's stop pollution. Remember, life not light.
Positive Human Impact
Many organizations have taken action to stop this pollution and try to stop developers from using this land, but we need your help in doing this. Support these organizations by learning more and supporting their cause. Humans have tried to fix what humans have started. We need to learn that we don't own the world and that it's just not for us. Most positive human impact is in reaction to negative human impact. By supporting us, we can save what is meant to be saved, and be able to save the ecosystems that deserve to be here. Join us now.
